Keravan Energia broadens its service offering to include Nuuka’s demand response solutions.

Keravan Energia Oy and Nuuka Solutions have signed a ‘White Label’ co-operation agreement. Keravan Energia has released its own Real Estate Monitoring service, which is based on Nuuka’s platform and technology. Nuuka delivers the technology from sensors to software in this agreement.

Keravan Energia’s Real Estate Monitor is a tool for the development of intelligent heating, energy efficiency, indoor air conditions and HVAC processes in real estate and creates a two-way connection to building automation. This two-way connection enables the use of electricity and district heat demand response by Keravan Energia’s own clientele.

Sami Kotimäki, Keravan Energia's Director, Production:

"With Nuuka's technology, we are able to expand our product range to our end customers. Heat optimization and demand response solutions enable savings, especially in larger real estate.”

Olli Parkkonen, Nuuka’s Head of Business Development:

"Keravan Energia is our first ‘White-Label’ energy company customer. It's great to see that Nuuka’s technology is considered of value both within the energy and real estate sectors. From the point of view of energy companies, our ability to control HVAC processes in real estate automation plays a major role when talking about demand response concepts.”

“Our software allows us to ensure and monitor good indoor conditions, which is of paramount importance when contemplating the real estate sector’s participation in demand response.”

White-Label cooperation agreements for Nuuka have been viewed as a potentially huge stream of revenue given the predicted increase in appetite for demand response solutions from the energy sector as more and more intermittent and distributed renewable energy sources are connected to electricity grids and large, mostly fossil-fuel plants are taken offline. The global energy sector is massive, and by partnering with Nuuka, large energy companies can deliver better services to their customers and remain as central players in the future of the grid.
