I have just returned from an incredibly short, interesting but productive 4-day trip from New York. Having worked there before, it’s always great to go back. What an awesome city!
It was a great trip in many ways, but most importantly I signed Nuuka´s first major deal with a great reference customer in the US. I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am about this project and our possibilities in the US in general. The US is obviously an enormous market with full of opportunities, and this first reference customer (more details to follow) is not a step, but a leap in the right direction!
I also took some time to visit a ‘smart cities’ conference at the Brooklyn Navy Yards and can only conclude that smart and sustainable cities are really a hot topic right now and smart buildings are one of the foundational pieces of the smart cities agenda. It’s great to say that with our recent developments we are in the heart of these new trends globally.
The US is a market that you can't neglect if you want to make the world's buildings smarter, more energy efficient and healthier for the people who work in them. I know this even more now than before after visiting couple of our partners and (hopefully) future customers. Exciting times ahead for Nuuka for sure!
With some of the Nuuka team recently back from China after successfully launching a number of pilot projects over there, there is no doubt in my mind that Nuuka will be a global leader in this field before no time.
